Takudzwa Mutize is a Zimbabwean economist and postdoctoral research fellow at the University of the Free State in South Africa. He holds a PhD in Economics and specializes in education policy, labor mobility, and inequality. His work focuses on generating evidence to inform inclusive development, with experience in quantitative impact evaluation and policy engagement. He has contributed to major reports for UNESCO IESALC on higher education access, equity, and governance, and has consulted for institutions such as UNDP and the African Capacity Building Foundation. Takudzwa is passionate about using education data to drive equitable learning outcomes and strengthen public sector capacity.
