Carolyn Chisadza is an Associate Professor in Economics at the University of Pretoria. She holds a BSc (Honours) in Economics from the University of Zimbabwe and a BCom (Honours), MCom and PhD in Economics from the University of Pretoria. Her courses include Introduction to Economic Growth and Economic Development at the postgraduate level. Her research focuses on economic growth and development, inequality, institutions, and conflict within Africa. Her research papers have appeared in the top academic journals and peer-reviewed edited books (https://sites.google.com/view/carolyn-chisadza/home). She is currently an AfOx (Africa Oxford Initiative) visiting research fellow at the University of Oxford, where she is working on research related to frictions within societies.
