These distinguished researchers bring exceptional expertise and contributions in areas such as development economics, health economics, and public policy, underscored by their prolific publications, impactful research, teaching, and policy engagement.

Aligned with PEP's mission to promote the active participation of researchers from the Global South in shaping development policy debates, the Fellows will engage in PEP’s broad spectrum of activities. These include scientific and policy mentoring, research collaborations, participation in policy events and international conferences, and authoring influential publications.

PEP Research Fellows play a crucial role in increasing the participation of local researchers in policy and research discussions that impact their nations’ economic development. By contributing their expertise and insights, these Fellows help bridge the gap between local knowledge and global policy, ensuring that voices from developing countries come to the forefront of development initiatives.

The new Fellows join the current group of PEP Research Fellows, collectively forming a dynamic network of experts with a wealth of experience across diverse methodologies and thematic areas critical to PEP’s mission.
