The WWGS 2023, to be held in Ottawa, Canada, from October 18 to 20, will address challenges such as climate change, the transformative power of technology, and the enduring impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic. PEP's partnership with WWGS 2023 reflects our shared mission to generate and employ robust evidence that guides global policies and programs.
WWGS 2023, a leading event in this field, gathers professionals, researchers, and policymakers to explore the latest evidence synthesis research, research methods and practice strategies for improving the lives of individuals, families and communities worldwide.
Our Executive Director, Jane Mariara, will be participating in the summit's plenary session, "Knowledge mobilisation, evidence architecture, and evidence to policy and practice," on October 20. This session will discuss the urgency of bridging research, policy, and practice to address pressing global issues. This session also features David Sarfo Ameyaw from the International Centre for Evaluation and Development (ICED) and Lígia Teixeira from the Centre for Homelessness Impact.
