Mamotjoka Morai is a teacher of Deaf learners who studies special needs and inclusive education, literacy instruction, and international cooperation in education. Her current research focuses on the strategies for teaching deaf learners English writing composition skills. She has written papers exploring the efficacy of instructional strategies used by teachers of deaf learners in Lesotho. She has also adapted some evidence-based strategies in developing English writing composition skills, including thinking maps and the self-regulated strategy development model, using mixed methods research in both master's and doctoral studies obtained from Hiroshima University, Japan.
