Mamadou Mouminy Bah is an economist and statistician currently serving as a Research Economist Assistant at the University Félix Houphouët-Boigny (UFHB) and the Ivorian Center for Economic and Social Research (CIRES) in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. He previously worked as a Research Fellow at the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), Subregional Office for Central Africa in Yaoundé, Cameroon, under the ECA Fellowship for Young African Professionals Programme. His research focuses on development and applied microeconomics, with interests in resource misallocation, education policy, trade diversification, agricultural productivity, and women’s empowerment. His work has been published or is under review in peer-reviewed journals including the Journal of International Trade & Economic Development, the Journal of Climate Finance, and Comparative Economic Studies. He has presented his research at major international conferences, including ECINEQ, CSAE, the World Bank Land Conference, and meetings of the Econometric Society. He is a recipient of several prestigious fellowships, including the AERC Ph.D. Scholarship, the UNECA Fellowship, and the NPTCI Master’s Scholarship.
