Heterogenous gender indicators

Post by jdavalos » Thu Sep 05, 2019 9:40 am

Congratulations to the team for the interesting proposal,

Regarding your heterogeneous gender indicators, they seem to be measuring different dimensions of the household gender behavior. Do you characterize each one of them ? This implies having some theory or a priori knowledge regarding the the particular issues being captured by each one of them. This will help you provide useful interpretations and policy relevant recommendations from your empirical analysis. Otherwise your are likely to get seemingly 'non-robust' results when comparing estimates at the many gender indicators.
