reservation wage and offered wages

+ It would be interesting to structurally model females' reservation and offered wages. This would help us understand whether education increases the reservation wage more than the offered wage. The latter may be a consequence of female discrimination with respect to education or to lower offered wages due to the demand shocks that you mention? A quick answer to this question can be retrieved from a heckman's model selection equation (effect of education into the selection equation). This will help you identify alternative characteristics that might be pushing females out of the labor market.
