The Poverty Reduction, Equity, and Growth Network (PEGNet) is calling for papers to be presented at the 2019 PEGNet Conference in Bonn, Germany, September 9-10, 2019. The conference theme for this year is “Promoting social, economic and socio-political development through social protection”.
The Conference will provide a platform for high-level dialogue between development researchers, practitioners and policy-makers working on Poverty Reduction, Inequality, Growth and other related topics in Development Economics.
The two conference days will feature parallel-sessions based on invited and contributed papers and project presentations.
Contributed papers will be selected based on three-page extended abstracts that focus on policy-relevant topics in development economics. Priority will be given to empirical research with clear implications for policy design and implementation. Submissions do not have to address the conference theme.
Best Practice Award
During the conference, the PEGNet Best Practice Award will be awarded for the eleventh time to a project that exemplifies cooperation between researchers and practitioners. One winning project will be selected and awarded the prize of 3000 EUR. See the Call for applications for more information.
Submission deadline: April 15, 2019
