PEP publicizes news and events from the development research community that may be of interest to its members.
The South Asian Network on Economic Modeling (SANEM) invites paper submissions for the 5th SANEM Annual Economists’ Conference to be held February 1-2, 2020, in Dhaka on the theme of “Institutions for Development”.
Papers should have some relevance to South Asia and/or Bangladesh, and discuss any of the following categories:
- Institutions and economic development
- Trade and regional integration
- Structural transformation in the developing countries
- Sustainable development
- Labor market and employment challenges
- Macroeconomic policies
- Social policies
- Poverty, inequality
- Environment and climate change
SANEM encourages young researchers and students to submit papers. There will be a separate session for the students/young researchers in this conference.
