The 2010 LACEA Conference featured a special PEP session entitled “Impact Evaluation of Social Policies in Latin America”. The Latin American and Caribbean Economic Association (LACEA) is a leading annual event in the region for the exchange of ideas among economists and policymakers. Three PEP researchers - Clarissa Gondim Teixera, Veronica Amarante, Maria Laura Alzua - presented the results of their PEP-PIERI research projects, which were then commented by representatives of the IADB, UNDP and the World Bank.
