Call for new research study on trade facilitation for poverty reduction

Deadline: January 30, 2012

With supports from Government of China, ESCAP’s Trade and Investment Division (TID), has begun implementation of a project on Trade Facilitation for Poverty Reduction. The project aims at identifying trade facilitation measures that may particularly contribute to poverty reduction and building capacity of developing countries in the Asia-Pacific region.

In this connection, ARTNeT Secretariat has issued a call for new research study focusing on trade facilitation for poverty reduction. Researchers are invited to submit EOIs to Mr. Yann Duval, Acting Chief, Trade Facilitation Section, ESCAP Secretariat, no later than 30 January 2012 (to be sent to duvaly@un.org with a copy to salehin@un.org).
