Dr. Nikica Mojsoska Blazevski will be in the USA for 5 months in order to complete a Fulbright post-doctoral fellowship at Arizona State University. She will be extending the research conducted through her PAGE project PMMA-12800 Wage ‘scarring’ when youth unemployment is extremely high: evidence from Macedonia. The aim of this study is twofold: to assess factors that play major role in explaining the duration of the unemployment spell of young persons in Macedonia; and to assess how the duration of unemployment spell then affects the wage outcomes, i.e. the wage ‘scarring’ effect.

This grant presents an excellent opportunity for Dr. Mojsoska Blazevski to deepen her expertise, to acquire new skills, to work with additional resources and to make connections with others in her field. It will also enable her to widen her actual PAGE framework on a set of 6 countries from Central Asia and Eastern Europe.

PEP is proud to celebrate this great achievement that cottribtes to the impact and scope of PEP's research worldwide!
